Sombat Banchamek is a professional kickboxer in Thailand. He was born in Surin , Surin is a province in the northeast part of Thailand. He was born on May 8,1982. His mother is a housekeeper and his father is a farmer. His family is very poor. His mother died when he was a child and got married with Ms.Kaew. He is a strong and brave man weighing 70 kg and standing 174 cm. He started his fighting career at the age of eight in his home province. Then moved to Chachoengsao where he was trained in kick boxing only.

When he was sixteen years old , he signed a contract as a boxer under Por Pramuk label. His trainer ' s name is Saichon Tammarong. Since then, he practiced kickboxing extensively. Sombat Banchamek name was Damtamin Kiat-anan. He received many champion title belt. The Omnoi Stadium featherweight title was his first belts and he became the kickboxing champion of the World in two connective years, 2006 and 2007. He became a famous kickboxer and one of Thailand 's highest grossing professional athlete. He has many awards in kickboxing as he won 357 times , lost 45 times, and drew 5 times.

At this time, Buakaw Por Pramuk prepares for the competition in the Champion K-1 World 2013 and he is planning to open his own boxing camp. For me , he is a symbol of tolerance and a fighter brought fame to the country.
